Volunteering for Top Church Training
We couldn't do what we do without our amazing volunteers.
Our volunteers come to us for a variety of reasons. Some were clients who we encourage into volunteering as a way to move on in their lives and regain a sense of purpose. Some are looking to make a change in their lives after an addiction, a period of poor mental health, or overcoming other challenges. Some are looking to move closer to the jobs market or have ambitions to go to college or onto other training, and others are looking to make new social contacts while giving something back to their community.
Whatever, their reasons, our volunteers are amazing and we value every one of them highly.
Our high quality volunteer training programme consists of a Level 1 Induction programme so we can get to know each other, and a Level 2 portfolio, which is made of of six training modules. You can specialise in the areas you are interested in most, such as Hospitality, Kitchen Skills, Office Administration, or Gardening. The training modules are fun and engaging and are a blend of workbook activities, group activities and on-the-job, practical training. All designed to get you where you want to be while making new social connections, building your confidence and making a contribution to your community.
