Raising funds through having fun

If you are reading this page, you may have already completed Step One of organising a fund raising event - choose what charity(s) you are raising funds for.

Step Two is where you can let your imagination run wild - what kind of event are your going to hold?  It doesn't have to be innovative, it doesn't have to be a massive event - the traditional fundraising ideas work very well.  You could hold a coffee morning, quiz, bring & buy sale, raffle or ask for sponsorship to complete a particular sporting event or challenge.

Next is Step Three, find a location.  If you're completing a challenge or sports event, then this may have already been done for you.  If you are looking for somewhere to hold a quiz or other group event, then you may have to look for a suitable location.

Step Four - If you're planning a group event, then you'll need to consider other things, particularly if the event is open to the public.  Some useful resources are listed below.

Whatever you choose to do, we are more than willing to provide you with advice & support along the way.
